The Great Blue Heron can grow to 44" tall with blue grayish body. Its head is white with black plumes. Habitat: Marshes, swamps ponds, lakes shallow bays and tidal flats. The Great Blue Heron's range is from Florida to Southern Canada and around the Gulf into Mexico.
