Anhinga

The Anhinga can grow to 34" and its colors black with silvery white patches on the wings. The female has a light brown head, neck and chest. Habitat: Ponds, rivers, cypress backwaters and lakes. The Anhinga can be seen year round in Florida and as far north as North Carolina in the summertime.
